TeachMe - Free Gym Intro sessions

Would you like to start working out at the gym, but not sure where to start? You can get free advice and education from our gym staff by booking in for a TeachMe Gym Intro session. Just 30mins long, and limited to around 4 people per session, we will take you through the basics of some of the equipment and training styles on offer at the gym, giving you the confidence to build your own programmes and evaluate what you see on the web. We offer sessions in free weights, machine weights, foam rolling, core, kettlebells, intervals & circuits, swissball and suspension training. Group Fitness Challenge has begun! Are you in to win the $500?

Sign up for the Group Fitness Challenge, complete 100 classes by October 2nd, and be in the draw to win cash and prizes up to the value of $500! We give away prizes and promotions exclusive to Group Fitness challenge participants. Challenge commenced on 1st March, but you can still sign up, there's plenty of time! As of May 3rd, it's around 4 -5 classes per week to reach 100....totally doable, especially when we have 30min HIIT classes and yoga to attend! Or , you could aim for the 50 class mark, a leisurely 2-3 classes in the remaining 23 weeks. So come and sign up, get your class diary (where we put your stamps to record your visits) and begin your journey to completing 100 (or 50)classes!

Gym Hosts - Co-curricular Record opportunity

Do you love the gym? Do you want to help people in the gym, that look a little lost or need a bit of help with technique or motivation? We currenlty have a few volunteer positions available for Gym Hosts. As part of this activity, you'll earn up to 2 intersection points for your CCR. We'll provide you comprehensive training, and there are a limited number of opportunities for suitable candidates to undertake and complete the National Certificate in Fitness (Foundation Skills) or (Exercise Consultant), giving you a qualification with which you can apply for fitness consulting employment in the future, both locally and overseas.
