What's happening at the RecCentre this month?
Squash Wing Temporary Closure
The Squash Wing (includes Circuit Room, Boxing Room, Athlete Training Centres, Spin Studio, Climbing wall and Squash Courts) will be closed from Monday 16th January, 2017 until further notice. This is due to urgent repairs and maintenance. For your safety, we will keep this area closed. Repairs have already commenced, and we expect this work to be completed within 1-2 weeks, so keep checking back here, and on our facebook page for updates.
We have relocated kettebells, strengthbags, medballs and small dumbells temporarily up to the gymnasium mezzanine, and we ask that all users wear shoes in this space for the time being. TRX kits are still available to borrow from reception, and these can be slung on the wall bars in the sportshall.
We apologise for any incovenience caused and we hope to have this sorted swiftly!
Summer Group Fitness Timetable
The Summer Timetable will resume on Monday 16th January. Please note, due to the squash wing closure noted above, spin classes will not be operating.
Women's Only hours in Circuit Room, Squash Mezzanine and Athlete Training Centre
See the current schedule here. Please note, due to the termporary closure of squash wing (see first item above), there are no women's only hours until we can reopen those spaces.
The rest of the facility remains business as usual - a mixed facility, at all times.
