Pump

Pump is a barbell based resistance training class that will tone and strengthen your entire body.   Great music and awesome instructors will see you getting the results you’re after.

What to expect from a typical Pump class

After a barbell warm-up you will work every muscle group in the body, 1 track at a time.  Expect a combination of tracks to work your legs, chest, back, triceps, biceps, shoulders and abs.  Finish with a good stretch and you’re done.

At your first few Pump classes

Arrive early and let the instructor know it’s your first time.  They will assist you to select the equipment needed and appropriate weight for you.  Listen to their guidance at the start of each track on the right weights to load onto your bar.

How often should you attend Pump?

2-3x per week is recommended for best results. Attend every other day, to allow your body time to recover between workouts (1-2 days rest).

Pump Intro

A 30min session with one of our instructors, which will leave you feeling confident to attend a full Pump class. The instructor will help you choose appropriate weights to go on your bar as well as go through the basic exercises that you will see in every class. The Pump class scheduled right after the session could also be the perfect time to practise all the skills you just learnt.
